Haider is the co-owner of Pure Pharmacy, and the friendly face you find in the pharmacy on most days. He graduated from Leicester School of Pharmacy, in England and moved to Canada in 1989.  He has been practising as a community pharmacist for over 30 years.  He has been a pharmacy owner since 1993 first as a Shoppers drug mart associate, then as an owner of an independent pharmacy.  He has owned a pharmacy in King since 2007.  He re-branded the pharmacy King City Guardian to Pure when the pharmacy was relocated to 1700 King Road in April 2021.

Haider is passionate about the health and well-being of his clients and genuinely cares for them as individuals.  He is very well known among his patients as “caring and always there to listen to us”.  He will go out of his way to ensure that your health care needs are met.  He is a charitable person and a true believer in giving back to the community.  He was recognized at the Volunteer appreciation night by the Township of King in 2019 for “building & providing exceptional friendly service at our local drug store, volunteering for the King for Refugees association by helping initiate fundraising program, andmentoring and providing employment to several of King’s newcomer youth”.

Haider has participated in many charitable initiatives locally and internationally, such as the Run for Southlake Regional Health Centre, the Princess Margaret Cancer foundation Ride for Cancer, the Sporting life 10km run supporting Camp Ooch, and a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro to support a British charity called “The desk and chair foundation”, which provides school supplies to impoverished schools in Tanzania.  His next mission is to trek up to the base camp of Mount Everest one day.

Haider knows his customers by their first name and is known to go out of his way to get them what they need when they need it.
